Children’s safety comes first
ActionReach is committed to protecting children from abuse, exploitation, neglect and harm. We expect staff, volunteers and partners to uphold appropriate safeguarding standards.
If you have a concern about a child’s safety or about the conduct of anyone connected with our work, please let us know. Concerns will be handled sensitively and in line with approved procedures.
If a child is in immediate danger
Contact the police or the nearest emergency or statutory child-protection services straight away. Do not wait to contact us first.
To raise a concern about someone connected with ActionReach
Write to info@actionreach.org with “Safeguarding concern” in the subject line. Please do not include a child’s name or identifying details in the first message. We will explain how to share further information securely.
Please do not use the general contact form to send sensitive child-protection details.
How we protect children
- Every activity must protect children from harm, exploitation, abuse and inappropriate disclosure.
- We follow safeguarding, confidentiality and mandatory reporting requirements applicable to each case.
- We do not investigate or manage cases beyond our competence or legal mandate. We work with statutory and specialist child-protection services.
- Volunteer roles carry supervision and safeguarding checks appropriate to the role.
- We use images and stories of children only with informed consent and safeguarding review. We do not condition assistance on agreeing to be photographed, interviewed or featured.
- We will publish our approved safeguarding policy and reporting channel once they are approved for release.
